Academy Award-winners Jack Lemmon ("Glengarry Glen Ross," "Grumpy Old Men") and Anne Bancroft ("The Graduate," "Agnes of God") are a sweetly melancholic 48-year-old man and his wife who must face the trivial and relentless vexations of New York life when the husband loses not just his job, but also his confidence. From the hilarious hit play by Neil Simon ("The Goodbye Girl"), and featuring Academy Award-winner F. Murray Abraham ("Amadeus") and superstar Sylvester Stallone.

This is by far the most brilliant movie I've ever watched. It's hilarious! Line by line, scene by scene...never a dull moment! Every single actor in the movie plays a phenomenal role. I laughed for over an hour, without stopping. Each time I thought I'd have a chance to rest my abs and dry my eyes...out with another line from one of the actors! Just brilliant. My favorite movie of all time!!! I love this movie.

Look for Sly Stallone in this one. Did you see him?

This may not be for a lot of I Tunes crowd, but this is one of my favorite movies. One of the last good Neal Simon films. Jack Lemmon and Anne Bancroft give great performances in this comedy/drama about a middle aged man going trough a nervous breakdown from getting fired from his job, his apartment being burglarized, neighbors and everyday life living in the big city of Manhattan.
