Hi Brittany, very good and inspiring plan. I built it with some modifications of my own, and about a quarter of it is reclaimed or repurposed wood. Mine’s the same depth but 8′ long and with roof 9′ long as shingles come in 3′ lengths. I went up a foot higher than yours and reversed the slope of the roof as mine is next to garage wall. Also, I used deck screws instead of nails and handled the footings a little differently. I’d send you pics but don’t see how to. Recommendation: tell folks to make their cuts in the tallest 4×4 before assembling the shed; much easier and safer that way. Regards, Wayne

In a common thing for people to be needing more space, and these mini barns are sometimes overlooked as a viable option. Fortunately, there are a few good reasons why you should consider one of these. Mini barns make perfect sense for smaller properties that don’t have sufficient space available for larger outside buildings. First, the mini barn is simply a basic shed with short sidewalls and a gambrel or Dutch-style roof. They are short buildings in comparison to the Dutch Barn and they don’t have the height needed for a loft, but they do offer a great look and ample space.
The only caveat to the whole “can you paint plastic” question is resin. Some resin sheds just can’t be painted. Call your shed manufacturer to find out. Or you can get a small amount of primer and paint and test it out on a hidden spot.
The panels are designed to interlock instead of requiring you to spend hours putting it together with nuts and bolts. This may be one of the simplest plastic sheds on the market to put together and is a good choice for anyone without construction experience. Interlocking pieces not only make the Cascade easy to assemble but also create a strong finished product If you don't have the base perfectly level, the doors may not line up or stay closed properly Some of the assembly holes do not line up properly, making assembly of certain parts properly

Royal Storage Sheds were a popular brand of shed in Canada and North America for many years. In the mid 2000's the business was sold and manufacturing of the Outdoor Products, such as sheds was stopped.
WHEN YOU START searching for a shed to put out in your backyard, one of the first things you are likely to notice (or at least for me it was), is that there are so many to choose from.

Most certainly – finished portable cabins are a great way to get a tiny house! You do need to do your homework with your local building inspector as to what the local regulations are. Certain jurisdictions do not allow a portable structure to be used as a permanent dwelling place.
All of the panels are designed to be bolted together for added strength and are made from one of the toughest plastic resins on the market.
And although it's still not 100% resistant to harsh weather, today's plastic sheds are made with newer materials that are much more resistant to extremes in climate
The shelter itself is made from UV treated fabric to stop fading, and the steel frame is powder coated to give it more durability. Both ends have zip doors for privacy or to keep the rain out.
Since the cabin shed is portable, a permit may not be required. However, it is best to check with your city or zoning, as each place is different.
