One addition the Lifetime shed has is the shatterproof windows. This goes to show how the quality of their product is set high, it is really made for a “lifetime”. I think this is very important because buying a shed of this size is more expensive and you want it to last as long as possible. The durable waterproof plastic materials are great against mother nature. Also, no need to worry because Lifetime offers a 10-year limited warranty. Like most sheds, especially the larger ones, placing them on a sheet of flat cement, wood, or asphalt, will help keep the shed standing tall for a long time.
This backyard shed has a gable roof that looks great and provides the opportunity for adding vertical storage for maximum flexibility. With a gable roof and barn-style doors, you can easily build this shed and add 80 square foot of storage to hold all your outdoor equipment. .
Jackie was great to work with. We had looked in our area (2 hours away) and couldn’t find anything we really liked. An online search led us to Recreation Unlimited. Searching their website led us to the Enamour Spa in the Fantasy line. A couple of phone calls to ensure it was what we were interested in and we were ready to buy. We actually did all the paperwork through email and did not actually visit their location until the day we picked up the spa. Being 2 hours away was outside their delivery area but the spa itself was really easy to move an set up. We were in it the next night. Will recommend both Jackie & Recreation Unlimited to anyone interested in a new spa.

Although it is cheaper to build your own utility shed, buying the shed is better bang for your buck. This is because the quality of a professionally built shed will be higher than a kit; shed builders buy in bulk, which saves money. Other things to take into consideration are your time and the hassle of trying to build one yourself. By purchasing through a quality-built shed company you can spend your time elsewhere and save yourself a hassle, while getting top-notch quality!

Plastic sheds must be installed on a flat, level foundation. There is typically no forgiveness in doors and joints, so a small bump or incline can throw your shed out quite a bit. If the shed isn’t installed properly, it can throw everything else out.Use WD40 or dish soap on the bottom of the walls over the piece that has to click in. It will make it much easier.Plastic heats up so if you leave it in the sun as you construct it, some parts might not fit due to their expansion. If left in the heat, the plastic will expand easily. If you are building the shed, leave the pieces in the shade until you need them. Once together, the shed will be strong and sturdy. The shed must be well fastened if you expect Windy conditions.5. Customizing can be expensive or impossible

This narrow shed from HowToSpecialist also made the list, because it look fabulous. This stores firewood and also has a separate area for the small twigs. In addition, this wood shed features a gable roof to protect the logs from the elements. I love the simplicity of the design, but don’t be fooled because it will surprise you by how sturdy it is. A wooden shed is the most traditional type of shed and can be completely customized to create a very specific size or shape. They can be painted any color to match your house or surroundings, and they can easily be dressed up with unique features like cupolas or window flower boxes. They can also easily be customized inside, as well. Multiple shelves and cabinets can be hung from the walls and the overhead loft areas to provide extra storage area. However, unless you finish the inside of a wooden shed with actual walls and a ceiling, the interior will have an "unfinished" appearance with exposed wooden beams and braces which make it more difficult to clean and can more easily attract unwanted bugs.
Resin sheds are very attractive and decorative with their neutral colors and simulated wood-textured panels, but they cannot be painted or shingled to perfectly match your house. However, they do allow for easy additions of upgraded accessory options like skylights, windows, lighting, shelving, and peg strips with no additional wiring, cutting, or drilling needed. And, they have a clean finished interior with the plastic wall and floor panels.

Hi Brittany, very good and inspiring plan. I built it with some modifications of my own, and about a quarter of it is reclaimed or repurposed wood. Mine’s the same depth but 8′ long and with roof 9′ long as shingles come in 3′ lengths. I went up a foot higher than yours and reversed the slope of the roof as mine is next to garage wall. Also, I used deck screws instead of nails and handled the footings a little differently. I’d send you pics but don’t see how to. Recommendation: tell folks to make their cuts in the tallest 4×4 before assembling the shed; much easier and safer that way. Regards, Wayne
